The aim of the garden is to have a place where people can learn to garden, share expertise and bring together people who enjoy gardening. If you would like to learn more come and join us on one of our gardening days.
The community garden is being run on organic principles, which will minimize our carbon footprint. New and old crop varieties will be grown to discover which grows best in our area.
Gardeners work the garden in return for a small share of the crops. Eligibility for crop share is achieved by working for ten hours (when convenient) and then working three hours per month throughout the year. A membership fee of £6 per annum is then required.
